BSA-Business Analyst w (AML or Fraud) & (SQL or SAS) 4+months contract Rate: $28/hr Amherst, NY (Buffalo area) SKYPE/Phone The manager would like to see at least 2 years of hands on experience. He has advised he would also like to see candidates in the listed pay range. Need candidates having SQL/SAS/Data mining/Data Analytics experience Major functions: •Responsible to understand and analyze bank wide data to create and maintain different KPIs, dashboard, reports, matrices and make appropriate recommendation to achieve business objectives •Responsible to optimize underlying models/rules/strategies using data mining and data analytics tools to improve current reporting and operational efficiency, minimize losses, and identify trends and patterns that require additional controls •Participate in the planning and implementation of new applications, projects and programs or enhancement of existing applications, projects and programs •Participate in the design, implementation and validation of data mapping requirements •Facilitate the conversation with different stakeholders and operational managers to design and build various MIS reports and ensure the managers have what they need to run their respective areas while maintaining consistency of MIS across risk and operational services team •Use multiple data analytics and data mining tools to write complex queries pulling data from a wide spectrum of applications to provide on demand data intelligence •Work closely with operation leaders to determine requirements, perform gap analysis on existing reports, configuration or processes and identify recommendation to improve overall efficiency •Maintain the documentation of all procedures and methodology related to data analytics, optimization, collection strategies, manual or automated alert generation process, monthly or quarterly true up or any other system troubleshooting •Methodically perform and document trouble shooting steps to resolve issues and defects. Work collaboratively with vendor and internal IT resources and other stakeholders in the event of productions outages or fix any system related bugs •Maintain compliance with all relevant and applicable internal and external rules, regulations, and polices that govern this position. Operate in a manner that is in strict alignment to FNFG’s Code of Ethics policy. •Perform other assignment/projects as requested by management Success Measures •Demonstrate superior data extractions and analytical skills with proficiency in various software/database/core banking Consumer Finance/AML/Fraud applications •Make noticeable contribution in various MIS/Optimization/Data analytics initiatives of operational service team •Demonstrate strong interpersonal, project management and problem solving skills •Quickly adopt to AML, Fraud and consumer finance concepts Technical/Functional skills: Competencies •Strong hands on experience with one or more business intelligence or visual analytics tools such as SQL/SAS/Crystal Reports/EAS/TIBCO Spotfire/Tableau/Qlikview •Advanced level experience on MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Visio •Strong analytical and problem solving skills •Willingness to learn and explore new systems and functionalities, statistical methodology for data analysis, and other data initiatives •Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills •Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet aggressive deadlines •Knowledge on AML or Fraud or Collection based scenarios/models/rules/strategies •Solid understanding of BSA/AML or Fraud or Consumer Finance business and their associated back-office operations •Exhibit energy, enthusiasm and commitment to build effective working relationships with other team members, business and technology partners •Ability to work in a team environment, but also be a self-starter by taking initiative and working independently *Thanks & Regards* Sunny Mehta Sage Group Consulting Inc.
