*Openings: 2* *Location: Wilton, CT* *Contract – 6 months* *Client – Financial* *Interview – phone/ in person* *FACE 2 FACE* *Need at least 9 or more years of experience* Description: Responsibilities would include: Manage a centralized MS SQL Server 2008, 2012 and 2014 Platform consisting of thousands of mission critical databases Partner with engineering teams to deploy cutting edge data platform technologies – including could base data platform technologies Partner with highly talented technologists on a broad portfolio of technology activities and projects Lead sustained engineering efforts to evolve the quality and consistency of service delivered by automating many of the day-to-day tasks and fixing complex problems Partner with technologists and end-users on a broad portfolio of technology projects Ensure availability and capacity for our most critical applications; respond to, resolve and prevent major incidents and outages Help build new technology services in order to meet team and business unit goals.
