This person MUST be a very *technical ABAP developer*
Resource will report to BI Manager
*JOB SUMMARY:*
Seeking a SAP developer who will be involved in all aspects of the product
life cycle including requirements gathering and analysis, design, coding in
ABAP & BW application scenario testing, implementation, and maintenance of
the code. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
The candidate will possess a strong business processing acumen, along with
excellent problem-solving/debugging skills and strong attention to detail.
*DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*
The duties and responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not
be limited to, the following:
Develop quality code and its associated documentation adhering to team and
Departmental development standards
Collaborates with analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of
SAP software programs and applications
Troubleshooting and resolution of issues
Translation of Functional spec into technical detail
Planning and execution of refactoring of classic ABAP to 00
Keep abreast of SAP functionality that are available in the current and
future releases.
Participates in team activities and team planning in regards to improving
team skills, awareness and quality of work.
Support users in core modules (Fl, MM/WM, SD, APO, CRM, HCM, PLM, TPM, ..)
Experience with implementing and supporting 1 or more of the following SAP
BW {Traditional BW, BW on Hana, Hana Live)
In addition to ABAP this position will evaluate and learn new SAP
development skills as necessary
Performs other duties and responsibilities as necessary
*Required Experience:*
5+ years of ABAP and ABAP 00
Understanding of functional areas and interaction between the areas
HANA development experience as required with at least 1-2 years' experience
in HANA
Strong experience with all aspects of the SDLC (analysis, design,
programming, testing, support) Ability to conceptualize, analyze issue and
deliver solutions
Excellent communication skills
*Preferred:*
Understanding of SAP ECC functional Experience with SAP Hana and Hana
Modeling Experience in Pl development
*REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE and ABILITIES:*
Proven thorough understanding of classical and interactive and ALV
r1;iports, dialog programming, data dictionary, BDC, SAP Script, Smartforms
and Adobe forms, BAPl's, ASAP query.
Strong experience in enhancing standard SAP using BADl's, enhancements and
user exits.
Experience with interfacing SAP with other systems utilizing RFC, ALE/EDI,
!DOC file creation and transfers. Experience with debugging, performance
tuning, transport reviews and SPAU resolution.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must work effectively
with all levels of management and employees
Must demonstrate effective leadership, problem solving, presentation, and
employee motivational skills. Proficient in Internet navigation, Microsoft
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
