*Duration – 3 month* *Rate: $55/HR on c2c* *ONLY GC, USC* Job Description: Keys to the position: SQL and Tableau This is a senior position and job responsibilities will include: Modify existing and/or create new systems to meet business requirements that run efficiently within the structure of the systems environment and in conformance with company policies and security guidelines. Lead development efforts to enhance and streamline Operational Data Stores/Data Warehouse structures. Understand business problems and develop solutions appropriate to the business and technical goals. Analyze business processes and maintain system and database interfaces. Prepare required supporting documentation. Design and maintain security structures and data access rules according to corporate security policies. Adhere to policies and procedures regarding configuration management, testing, and quality control. Work with other technical areas within the company as an MIS team member to integrate new initiatives, solve problems, and provide outstanding customer support. Implement and design systems in accordance with Information System Life Cycle methodology. Develop, modify, and test computer application software to operate according to user specifications and within company guidelines. Optimize extract, translate, and load processes. Responsible for database architecture and maintenance. Minimum qualifications: Minimum 7-8 years experience in programming with at least 5 years’ experience on MS SQL Server backend T-SQL programming (queries, triggers, stored procedures etc.) combined with at least 3 years in Business Intelligence (BI) development and exposure to products such as QlikView, COGNOS, Business Objects, Tableau etc.. Must have experience with SSIS or similar ETL (control/data flow tasks, transformations etc.) tools. Must have experience and knowledge of the SDLC Experience with SSRS, SSAS and knowledge/experience with OLAP structures is a big plus. Experience with Data Modeling tools such as ERWIN is a plus. Strong analytical and organizational skills Excellent decision making skills.
