*Position Name: *Security Engineer *Department: *IT *Location: *Watsonville, CA *Duration:* 6+ Months *Interview:* Phone and Face to face. *Job Description* - Manage and Maintain Intrusion Prevention and Intrusion Detection technologies in accordance with security policies and guidelines - Coordinate reporting and response of managed WAF events to the appropriate personnel - Manage and Maintain Vulnerability Management technologies and coordinate reporting and response to vulnerability events - Effectively communicate security status, risks, and issues in a timely fashion to stake holders - Quickly resolve/escalate issues as necessary - Review remediation plans and provide security guidance for efforts in various stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) - Manage and Maintain File Integrity Monitoring technologies and coordinate reporting and response to FIM events - Provide escalation support for the helpdesk on all security device issues and as an incident response resource - Assist with efforts to ensure compliance with security and privacy standards - Research and develop continuing innovation within the Information Security team. *Qualifications* - A combination of education (B.S.
