Install, test and certify operating system service packs, hot fixes, patches and/or upgrades on Middleware systems*. *Expertise on IBM WAS and Java professional*, *Install, configure, maintain, support, and administer all Software deemed as Middleware, including: MQ Series, transport layer (i.e., the service bus) and queue managers etc. · Experience on designing and implementing efficient queue manager Configurations that provide restart capabilities, guaranteed message delivery, and high availability failover support and maintain valid DR plan and regularly test all Middleware processes according to Standards. Providing technical support to Business Application teams on middleware software related issues and where possible, assist Application developers in analysing Application design and design changes and assessing their impact on the middleware software · Providing input to hardware and Software architects and participate in hardware Changes that affect the Middleware Software Systems and maintain valid DR plan and regularly test all Middleware processes according to Standards.
