Requirements: · Powershell · SCCM · Patch Management tools · Altiris Incident/Change Management · WIKI Documentation · Good understanding of Networks and protocols · Strong automation and scripting skills · Automation frameworks (Chef/Puppet/PowerShell DSC) · 8+ years of relevant, hands-on experience supporting Windows Server 2008(R2) / 2012 in an Enterprise Environment · Proficiency in scripting languages (Powershell preferred) · Experience with Powershell DSC (Desired State Configuration) or other configuration management tools. · Experience with SCCM Orchestrator and Configuration Manager. · Sound knowledge of Group Policies and registry changes. · Thorough understanding of working principles, and experience supporting Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft DNS, IIS, Virtualization (Hyper-V or VMware), Symantec Endpoint Protection (or similar enterprise AV). · Experienced in the configuration, and utilization of MS SCCM 2012 to deploy/patch software packages to servers. · Excellent troubleshooting skills with a scientific approach to problem investigation and resolution. · Thorough understanding of generally accepted system administration methodologies, tools, and techniques, and desire to instill these practices in your work and teammates. · Thorough understanding of networking and common datacenter infrastructure. · Good written documentation skills and demonstrable experience of documenting systems and procedures. · Experience with and wiliness to follow a strict change management and incident tracking process. · Passion for providing outstanding support for inbound incident tickets, as well as the foresight to keep things running smoothly by utilizing monitoring systems such as SCOM.
