Job Title:  BI/Data Architect-Dev/Sys Anal Lead

This role will serve as liaison between IT Management, business and
development team with the primary focus on understanding business
processes, business data transparency needs and enable business efficiency
through Business Intelligence (BI) by creating and delivering reports of
business data. Define data and design criteria and report models, vet the
reports with business and produce such report in a timely fashion. Work
with business to analyze and document business requirements, data
requirements and review/propose/produce data specifications (data/attribute
definition, entity relationships, participate in creating entity
relationship (ER) diagrams, models (conceptual, logical and physical),
database technical architecture, related network architecture, related
Disaster recovery architecture, related security architecture, related high
availability architecture), governance, and data/database solution for any
new/change to technology applications. Work with the Technical Analyst and
development team to ensure that they understand the specifications and
technology solution. Work with development team to produce documentation
for transition of technology solution between environments such as
development, testing, staging/UAT, production and Disaster Recovery. Work
with training team to document system scenarios, data flow diagrams and
identify roles impacted and helps develop a change management/training
plan. Conduct business process and data modeling sessions and generate
applicable scenarios for the technology functionality for testing team.
Responsibilities: • Responsible to identify, assess and document functional
requirements, risks and mitigation plans. Conduct research to determine if
solutions to business requirements currently exist within or outside the
business unit, and if not, whether new solutions are feasible. • Analyze
impact of proposed solution across the business, develop use cases to
explain/demonstrate business requirements/specifications to IT team and
contribute business or process perspective during design reviews. • Assist
Quality Management team to ensure that requirements documentation can be
easily translated into test plans and ensure that the proper testing plans
have been completed. Ensure data quality and performance is enforced in all
development and testing activities. • Facilitate implementation of new
functionality through training sessions, demos and the development of
appropriate documentation. Provide relevant test scenarios for the testing
team. • Design and create reports using available technologies. • Unit test
all software deliverables and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) •
Work with test team to develop system integration test scripts and ensure
the testing results correspond to the business expectations. • Work with
business and other parties to document business process, data flow,
workflow, requirements and other technical artifacts required for project
planning activities. • Document technical requirements and design
specification to promote and implement Cloud architecture, data security
and solutions. • Document technical requirements and design specification
to promote and implement software as a service solutions. Look for
opportunities for other cloud services • Document technical requirements
and design specification to implement infrastructure and Business
Intelligence. • Analyze application code/scripts/stored procedures related
to business intelligence services and business processes to extract
requirements and business rules for reporting • Document technical details
for the above legacy systems and modernization of legacy reporting
capabilities • Lead effort to document requirements for enhancement and
modernization of above business processes and data reporting • Lead the
effort to rollout (deploy into production) new reports and enhancements •
Lead development effort for enhancements to the above business processes •
Document technical requirements and design specification to implement
infrastructure to support all data operations and management. Promote Cloud
architecture • Document technical requirements and design specification to
implement infrastructure and Disaster Recovery solutions. • Document
technical requirements and design specification to implement health,
transaction and performance monitoring of IT solutions • Document technical
requirements and design specification to implement non production
environment and SDLC processes. • Document technical requirements and
design specification to implement development and management environment
including project management tools, SDLC tools and performance monitoring
and reporting tools. • Contribute to the Design of the enhancements to the
above business processes • Participate in the development effort, as
needed.



• Participate in the rollout process, as needed. • Participate in planning
for the enhancement effort to include cost estimates, scheduling and
development of work breakdown structure • Participate in research and
analysis of new technologies that can be used to modernize the above
business processes or facilitate the analysis and development of the system
enhancements throughout the project lifecycle • Defines and reports on
metrics that represent progress against project goals. • Acts as a thought
leader on emerging digital business models and technologies, articulating
the digital future and the enterprise's role in it internally and
externally. • Define strategy to report off of master data management
solution. • Provide a bridge role between development and the database,
communicating and translating between different perspectives or views about
business operations using different vocabulary to match those views. •
Communicate and translate required business process capabilities and
outcomes effectively between business process areas and supporting • Model
and enhance data models, business process diagrams and other related models
to capture business operations, data relationships, data domains, change
requirements within defined opportunities or projects, modeling both
current and future state, typically using a graphical modeling tool. •
Ensure proper coordination between the IT organization and process owners
by defining conceptual and logical levels of detail in the data and
business process models. • Hand off process model and rule changes to a
solution architect to coordinate application design and development.





Should have a minimum of 15 years of IT experience and 8+ years of Lead
Business Intelligence and reporting, technical analyst/architect and
business analysis experience



College degree, or specialized training or equivalent work experience



**PLEASE NOTE** - This position is for NJ MVC (Motor Vehicle Commission).
The MVC REQUIRES fingerprinting for all selected contractors before
starting work. The MVC does NOT reimburse for fingerprinting, regardless of
the results. By submitting a candidate to this position, your company
acknowledges that you will not be reimbursed for any fees incurred during
the fingerprinting process if your candidate is selected. Also, any time
over 40 hours per week, will be paid as straight time
