USG direct client is looking for* SAP BI/BW Consultant *at *San Jose, CA* *Role: SAP BI/BW Consultant* *Location: **San Jose, CA* *Interview: Phone/Skype* *Note: VISA Copy & Photo ID Mandatory* *Role name * · Consultant *Role Description* · Responsible for the SAP BW development lifecycle from design through implementation and production support. · Proficient in SAP BI/BW Back-end development and configuration, testing and pre-production support Proficient in design, developing & support of custom BW objects using BW LSA (Layered Scalable Architecture). · Proficient with SAP BW on HANA system as added advantage · Optimization Creates transformations, routines, formulas, DTPs. Develops, maintains, monitors and manages data loads and functions. · Documents test plans and completes unit testing of developed objects. Works closely with Testing/Business resources to support system and integration testing. · Creates and supports Bex queries in SAP BW Data Warehouse based on reporting requirements · Responsible for performance tuning of BW systems utilizing best practices Responsible for supporting Business Objects reports in production and bug fixes & Enhancements · Responsible for root cause analysis and providing solutions for production and development issues · Day to Day operations support and working with business users to resolve the issues, Bug Fixes for the issues/incidents reported, Code fixes. Adhere to ITIL process and follow the security standards. Report weekly and monthly SLA metrics. · Works with the local and global technical teams and business stakeholders · Ability to work in a fast paced, delivery focused environment · Ability to work to tight timelines in a high pressure environment · Actively suggest Continuous Improvements · Communicate progress to the Engagement Managers/ Sr. Managers *Competencies * · SAP BI: Business Intelligence, SAP BO: Business Object *Essential Skills * · Experience in SAP BI/BW: SAP BI/BW, Data warehouse, SAP, Business Objects and SAP ECC on HANA system · At least 5 years of experience in SAP-Business Intelligence, BW, with HANA is an added advantage · At least 3 end to end implementation projects as SAP BW Lead Consultant · At least 5 years of experience in creating requirement specifications based on Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes · At least 3 year of experience working in multiple versions in SAP BW including BW 7.3 or higher version * At least 1 implementation of BW. · At least 5 years of experience in Development/ Configuration/solutions evaluation/ Validation/deployment and production support • At least 5 years ABAP programming experience · At least 3 years supporting Finance teams and reporting · Understanding of relational database/data warehouse design concepts · Analytical and Communication skills are required as the selected candidates will interface with the customer, other support teams and management routinely · Desirable Skills · ITIL Incident/ Problem/ Change Management Process Knowledge · Flexibility to work in shifts *Please share your updated resume at *[email protected]* or feel free to contact me at **614-401-5194* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "USITCV" group.
