Facilitate a collaborative approach to problem solving and make well-reasoned decisions. Demonstrate good analytical abilities and technical skills. Must have an understanding of application design principles and application architecture. Will be required to prepare detailed system and program specifications aligned with client standards. Manage technical aspects of small to medium sized projects. *Required Skills*: The ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including senior management, is essential. Expected to ensure customer requests for information are addressed and follow up occurs resulting in superior customer satisfaction. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in systems support role with demonstrated results in analytics, configuring, coding, testing, problem solving and support, or demonstrated equivalent knowledge. Knowledge of / prior experience with health insurance business is preferred. Technologies involved: • ETL/ Informatica • Integration SQL & basic database table design • Messaging especially (but not limited to) MQ • General understanding of Service Orientation and SOA Ability to work with business users Ability to communicate clearly in writing, by phone, and in person. Detailed oriented with strong organizational skills and time management skills to manage competing priorities A. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in systems support role with demonstrated results in analytics, configuring, coding, testing, problem solving and support, or demonstrated equivalent knowledge. B. Experience with methodology based development (SDLC). Waterfall and agile experience preferred. C. Ability to articulate designs to other technical staff through discussion, diagrams, and writing. D. Understanding of application design principles and application architecture. E. Ability to navigate and work on multiple development platforms such as Unix and Windows. F. Experience with various development paradigms such as procedural languages, object oriented languages, message-oriented-middleware, and ETL tools. G. Strong database design and SQL experience. H. Experience implementing 3rd party (vendor) systems and designing integration points to core administration systems. I. Ability to work as part of a team or to be self-directed as required. J. Good organizational skills; ability to manage small to medium-sized projects and lead teams of developers. K.
