Working experience with DPI and traffic management/policing equipment eg. Cisco, Sandvine, Procera. Strong understanding of Networking protocols and technologies (TCP, UDP, VLAN, VPN, routing, multicast, GRE, DNS, DHCP, AAA, ICMP). Excellent in troubleshooting and tuning of networking and communications protocols. Experience with network management tools and protocols such as SNMP, TACACS+, Wireshark/Ethereal, tcpdump etc. Minimum 2+ years working experience in design and deployment of Network Traffic Management Systems – Data statistics, Subscriber Management, Traffic shaping and enforcement, filtering, Quota management and Policy Charing Enforcement Systems (PCRF) Deep understanding of network protocols, Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) • Analyzing, understanding and managing capacity on Broadband network • Traffic management across a multitude of interfaces • Design and deployment of Network Traffic Management Systems. • Excellent in troubleshooting and tuning of networking and communications protocols. • Experienced in traffic engineering and capacity management. • Perform analysis, notification, and trending of traffic statistics. • Create usage and scalability models, generate capacity reports, analyze traffic capacity for network telephony performance and sizing and recommend improvements to traffic routing. • Investigate traffic types, known and new, analyse usage, generate reports and graphs from traffic management platforms and tools. Liaise with stakeholders and others within the business as required • Management and development of related monitoring, alerting, diagnostic and reporting tools. • Strong analytical skills and competency in the use of traffic modeling tools and engineering Excellent interpersonal communication skills, strong judgment and the ability to work effectively. Ability to take ownership and complete all tasks on schedule.
