Please let me know availability and updated profile ASAP *TITLE: P&C test lead* * LOCATION: Hartford, CT, United States* *Contract* Requisition Details: *Overview* Looking for Test Lead who is responsible for planning, leading, and overseeing the testing activities for complex multi-product implementations in P&C Insurance domain. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded quality assurance professional with broad experience including project management, business analysis, and/or technical proficiency within the Quality Discipline. · Must have very good client handling experience & excellent communication skills. *Job Responsibilities: * · Plan, lead, and oversee testing activities for complex commercial insurance programs with multiple products and interfaces around Policy Admin, Billing and DWBI/Reporting · Define and drive quality strategy and quality process improvements through appropriate test harnesses as well as pragmatic testing approaches · Deliver high quality software products and services on time, on budget and to the specification · Work with and mentor team members with their initiatives / projects in onshore-offshore setting · Advanced ability to create, analyze and report on quality metrics for distribution / discussion with clients, senior leaders and project teams · Oversee the development and execution of test plans and monitoring and reporting on test execution. · Work with cross-organizational business and development teams to understand product vision and requirements · Actively share and promote the exchange of ideas and best practices and provide training to others across the discipline · Deep expertise in testing and quality assurance processes and methodologies, including experience leading major methodology implementations or improvements · Experience with aspects of project management and business analysis is preferred · Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work effectively with a wide variety of individuals, including auditors, management, engineering, project management, and QA staff across geographies · Ability to work through complex problems to reach a workable solution in a short span · Content expertise in the planning and execution of software testing, including hands-on testing and process improvement experience. Experience with multiple test methodologies and ability to appropriately identify applications for alternative approaches · Demonstrated expertise in innovating solutions to improve testing effectiveness and efficiency of self and others on the team *Personal Attributes* · Excellent stakeholder management skills · Adept at test management of complex programs in Insurance domain · Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral/written communication & influencing skills · Highly motivated and proactive with a proven ability to perform in a challenging work environment · Strong team player with good organizing, planning and leadership skills · Exceptional presentation, business writing and professional standards · Good analytical, diagnostic and creative problem solving skills.
