*Title: Dev Ops QA Automation Architect*

Duration: 6+ month contract.

Location: Denver or Salt Lake City



*What You’ll Do:*

·         Provide Pre-Sales technical solutions support to account teams:
drive revenue targets, conduct discovery meetings to understand the
customer’s technology environment, application development landscape,
testing framework and landscape, and white-board QA automation solutions in
an articulate way that flows and illustrates the purpose;

·         Capture and process the customer information to build a solid
proposed solution in collaboration with the account team that addresses the
requirements while considering the solution’s efficiency, flexibility,
scalability, reliability and availability;

·         In collaboration with the account team, present the proposed
solution to the customer and answer any questions, concerns that may arise;

·         Proactively follow-up with customer as requested and required
with punctuality in collaboration with the account team.

·         Assess the needs of a customer and leverage QA automation
methodologies to architect and design a wide range of automated testing
platforms and frameworks that will ultimately reduce defects, improve
quality and enable customers to deliver high quality software faster.

·         Define roadmaps and detailed implementation plans on behalf of
and/or in collaboration with customers for QA Automation strategy,
architecture, and implementation.

·         Evaluate, recommend and support selection of test automation
tools appropriate for the cusomter environment. Seek opporutnities to
leverage existing technology and integrate new where needed to optimize for
the customer.

·         Act as a mentor for QA resources.

·         Evangelize and communicate the vision for QA automation
architecture and technology stack with the Customer and ensure buy-in and
alignment prior to implementation.

·         Lead and manage QA automation engineers/personnel to implement a
solution that realizes the architectural vision and design.

*Required:*

·         Minimum of 5 years of solid experience QA Automation and Testing.

·         At least 3 years’ experience implementing and maintaining a
Continuous Integration framework including code promotion based on positive
outcome of increasing breadth and depth of coverage and complexity test
suites.

·         At least 3 years leading and/or managing QA Automation and
Testing teams and growing the test team and practice.

·         Consulting experience preferred.

·         Experience with TCP protocol sniffers or transaction packet
monitoring apps like WireShark or Fiddler2.

·         Strong hands-on experience with industry leading test tools like
Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Grid, Hyper-V, VMWare virtualization,
HP-QuickTestPro, Unified Functional Testing (UFT), Load Runner, HP
Performance Center/Quality Center (QC/ALM), Soap UI.

·         Strong hands-on experience with Mobile QA Automation frameworks
such as Calaba.sh and Appium.

·         Solid knowledge of RestAPIs, Java, Ruby, Python, SQL and other
programming/scripting languages.

·         Knowledgeable in different Load Testing Protocols eg: Web, Web
Services, Client Side Java Script, SOAP, REST, Mobile.

·         Ability to design and architect solutions for functional testing,
end to end testing, and continuous testing as it relates to web, mobile,
and API backend components.

·         Responds appropriately and competently to the demands of work
challenges when confronted with changes, ambiguity, adversity, and other
pressures.

·         Speech must be coherent to clearly convey or exchange
information, including the giving and receiving of assignments and/or
directions.

·         Position involves sitting most of the time, but may involve
walking or standing for brief periods of time.

·         Must be able to handle multiple projects.

·         Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

·         Must have excellent interpersonal skills, a high degree of
professionalism and the ability to design technology solutions for
commercial and large enterprise companies.

·         Excellent presentation, communication, and writing skills
required.

·         Ability to work with both Customer and Internal teams using a
collaborative demeanor.
