*Summary: *
The main function of a Analyst / Developer Specialized is to apply
expertise and leadership in the development of detailed system
specifications for major business support and/or development, integration,
and implementation projects.
Job Responsibilities: Develops concepts and alternative solutions based on
issues, customer needs, customer impact, and/or industry trends. Develops
business case analysis to justify customer investments in project
development and/or system support efforts. Analyze user needs and software
requirements to determine feasibility of design and potential impact while
cognizant of time and cost constraints. Maintains close liaison with

Introduces new technologies and develops standard practices for execution
of business processes across functional organizations. Provides project
leadership, expert advice, and counsel to IT personnel, management and

experience, SOA experience, Mobile application development, Websphere

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

identified by Senior GIS and LPSD Emissions Regulatory organizations as a
critical IT role supporting Caterpillar's Emissions & Regulatory Compliance
program. (GIS) organization is looking for a Senior Java Architect to
develop and drive this engine emissions reporting and conformance solution.
As an Information Systems (I/S) Specialist, you will apply software
architecture technical expertise for the Emissions Regulatory and
Conformance (ERC) business related suite of applications. Candidate will be
responsible for the following; Lead technical architect for distributed
Java Web solutions, directing team of Java and Database application
developers, seasoned knowledge of Java Web driven application system, from
both a business and technical point of view, translating business
functional requirements into complex technical specifications for Java and
Oracle based application development, creating and directing IT technical
documentation.
