*Job Description: -*

·         Design, engineer, develop and deploy Unix Flavors especially on
Aix, Linux & Solaris with LDOMs architecture

·         Knowledge on Linux KVM virtualizationExperience using frameworks
like Cloud forms and Openshift

·         Knowledge about containers

·         Provisioning, configuration and management of Redhat Satellite
servers and clusters

·         Experience in a product engineering w.r.t testing new proof of
concepts in Unix Environment

·         Adept Knowledge on migrating Physical servers to Virtual hardware

·         Knowledge in automation using Shell scripts - ksh, bash, bourne
shells

·         Configuring and administrating Zpool/ZFS file system on Sun
servers

·         Knowledge on ITIL process and Unix Patch management and Solaris
Live upgrade and YUM tools

·         Knowledge on performance/tuning analysis, shell/Perl scripting –
optional

·         Knowledge on Unix network administration and trouble shooting,
Managing System Services using SMF, system in linux environment

·         Planning and implementing the DR environment Disaster Recovery
planning and implementation

·         Knowledge on various storage technologies EMC, Hitachi and basic
knowledge on Shadow image, BCV, HUR, replication, IBM Tivoli backup client

·         VMware, Exalogic, Exadata skills are added advantage

Good analytical and trouble shooting skills on LVM, JFS, ZFS, VERITAS
volume manager & cluster

*Roles & Responsibilities:-*

 We are looking for candidate that understand the OS stack, they understand
how to provision and patch automatically either through Satellite servers,
or other means, but not through hands on keyboards. They understand
application virtualization through the use of frameworks like cloud forms
and Open shift with use of application containers, and would be able to
produce the taxonomy and standards that would be the lynch pin of the
process. The requirements for service catalogs and manifest management is
essential to these positions.
