*Location: Columbus Ohio *

JD Edwards - need at least 5 years of experience with end to end
integration of JD Edwards, salary OPEN.



The Application Support Specialist is responsible for assisting multiple
business units in the day-to-day use of various business applications.
Responsibilities include analyzing and responding to incoming support
tickets, 2nd level support for application issues (both purchased and
custom software), and providing support for internal groups using business
applications.





*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:*

1.         Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to
resolve customer issues related to application use, design and
configuration.

2.         Own application issues and drive them to resolution.

3.         Respond quickly and effectively to production issues.

4.         Manage multiple customer issues simultaneously.

5.         Assist with the administration of applications (JD Edwards,
Kronos, Dynamics CRM, SharePoint, etc.).

6.         Provide on-call support for application issues.

7.         Log, track and update tickets in issue tracking system.

8.         Performs other duties as directed.



*QUALIFICATIONS:*

1.       Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or 4
Year Degree with applicable experience.

2.       2 years’ support or customer service experience with strong
problem solving ability.

3.       SQL experience or knowledge preferred.

4.       Experience utilizing a job scheduler preferred.

5.       Knowledge of technologies used to build and deploy applications
such as: SQLServer, WebLogic, IIS, etc.

6.       Demonstrated analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting
expertise.

7.       Willingness to take on researching challenging problems and
suggesting solutions.

8.       Detailed, organized and results oriented.

9.       Ability to effectively prioritize and escalate customer issues as
required

10.   Strong team player with service-oriented attitude.

11.   Must possess good communication skills.

12.  Should have the ability to work independently, establish priorities,
and work at unusual hours.
