*Position:* Business Rules Modeler (Only Citizens/GC) *Location:* Boise, ID *Rate:* $50/hr *Duration:* 1+ year contract *Job Details:* Job description: *The position is for a Pricing Tool Business Object and Business Rules Modeler* A Pricing Tool Business Object and Business Rules Modeler and this person ensures that the business configurable pricing rules are properly implemented in the WW MS Configuration, Pricing and Financial Analysis tool. *Key Focus Areas & Deliverables* - Gather and document business requirements from all stakeholders in the solutioning, pricing, financial analysis and ongoing management of MPS deals, including Sales, Pricing, Finance, Field Delivery and Delivery Operations - Assess and diagnose impact of new business objects and new business rules on system usability and system performance - Work closely with IT to define and implement system data models required to support business objects and business rules - Work closely with IT to define and prioritize system framework requirements needed to fully implement business requirements - Coordinate release of new business objects and new business rules with formal IT system releases - Help guide and actively participate in testing of new business objects and new business rules - In addition to business object modeling and business rules implementation, the role will require extensive development of Excel reports and implementation of complex Excel macros * Baseline knowledge and skills required to do the job* - Have had experience understanding business requirements, transform those thoughts into the design a solution and either translate it into requirements for IT or implement it in cube modeling - Computer Science degree or equivalent experience · Needs to understand object oriented and data modelling – required for cube modelling · Database knowledge, SQL language – required for cube modelling · Strong Excel development skills including VB, C# · Proficient in troubleshooting · Experience with programming and/or scripting languages *What will help to do the job easier:* - Knowledge of XML and XSL transformation scripts (desirable) - Knowledge of SQL (desirable) - Experience with linear programming engines (desirable) - Business skills · Ability to train, support business users on the implementation · Proficient in mathematics (pricing is about math, from simple to fairly complex calculations, must be able to create mathematic models to address the requirements) · Attention to details *Siva* [image: https://ci6.googleusercontent.com/proxy/-dDTPPmV5j1bx9GyvM5mN-uo0UbRR1jXH_E0ae9nmS74DqO4pmnkE2tDjZjjyMXinKrVK72lPOlckRNUcGS5nN7ozXs-r6AQDM60WpGjSdTGGBsSDZ0g=s0-d-e1-ft#http://smallboard.files.wordpress.com/2013/01/smallboard-logo.png] 30 S.
