*Role: JDA WMS * *Location: Saint Paul - Minnesota* *Duration: 6+ months * *Job description* · Client supply chain operations organization is looking for a strong candidate to support our JDA WMS deployment readiness activities. We have been deploying an upgraded version of our WMS software in our US distribution centers in 2016 and will continue to finish deployment in the remaining sites in 2017. · Just after JDA upgrades take place, some of these sites will be converting their interface to a new ERP interface as well. The main focus is to work with technical analyst to implement software modifications and enhancements in the software and integrator to improve performance and overall functionality. *Position Duties:* · Technical resource that is knowledgeable with the JDA WMS system (understanding infrastructure required, integrator functionality, trace profiler, LEXEDIT, etc.) Develop code changes and implementation of software changes as required. · Support of deployments both debugging and system enhancements. · Support testing preparation: attend testing prep activities with the intent of creating testing data to support desired test scenarios. · Basic project management support as needed. · Data validation of inventory or activity step based on traces from both remote and server activities. · Propose configuration, code, and design changes as requested Provide estimates for development and configuration to facilitate planning of assigned work Provide development deliverables and ensure application code is reviewed and written efficiently to follow Client and/or industry best standards and practices Conduct unit testing (configuration and/or Functional Unit) for updates assigned or in a specific test cycle as assigned Assist users with guidance on business process execution, resolution of defects and execution of scripts for integration/regression/UAT testing Coordinate and participate on solution documentation updates, including As-Is and To-Be states for any logistics location in scope for a deployment Work on defects assigned by manager and provide resolution based on the priority of the defects.
