If you are not interested in this position, please let me know if you have any friends who would be interested..... *Here are new job details:* *______________________________________________________________________________________* *Job Title: Validation Engineer* *Job Locations: Warren, MI [ 100% Onsite]* *Duration: 12 + Months Contract **[Potential Extensions] * *Phone/Skype* *Start Date: Immediately* *No of Jobs: 2* *Job Description:* ===================================================================================== *Responsibilities include:* • Reviewing requirements, execution and evaluation of vehicle subsystem designs. • Development & execution of Electrical Subsystem/System Test Plans at bench and vehicle level. • Act as expert on Passive Safety testing issues at testing sites. • Analyze data from Electronic Data Recorder (EDR) • Writing test procedures and reports • Preparing and Managing project plans • Analyzing and documenting data from tests • Communication, coordination, and consulting with engineering departments and customers *Qualifications:* • BS in Electrical Engineering (Preferred) or other related Engineering Degrees • Previous experience in automotive electrical testing and validation • 1-3 years of experience in software and embedded controller design principles and validation processes. • Proven skills in analysis and problem solving; able to recommend solutions and provide technical guidance • Knowledge of laboratory practices, instrumentation, and vehicle electrical systems. • Diagnostic troubleshooting experience of electrical system • Experience with serial communication protocols such as CAN (or GMLAN), LIN • Familiarity with serial communication monitoring tools such as NeoVi, CANalyzer, CANoe • Strong project management skills ability to establish achievement plans and then execute plans on time • Must have valid Driver’s license and ability to drive Vehicles Executing test plans; Running Subsystem Validation test procedures in a lab and vehicle environment; Writing test procedures; participating in peer reviews; Participating in DFMEAs; writing issue reports; Participating in monthly staff meetings/work groups, meeting with design engineers *Regards.* *Vikash Kumar.* *First Tek, Inc.
