Responsible for creating and writing various types of training
documentation, including how-to guides, references, manuals, cheat sheets,
or instructions for both internal and external clients.  All documentation
should be consistent across product lines and demonstrate “one voice”.
Responsible for managing and maintaining a single repository of all
training documents.  Also responsible for updating all documents related to
software releases and/or process changes and communicating the changes.



·         Knowledge:  A seasoned, experienced professional with a full
understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in
creative ways.

·         Job Complexity: Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis
of data and processes requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for
obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal personnel in own area of
expertise.

·         Supervision: Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day
work, but can grasp and execute on general instructions for all
assignments.

·         Develop a variety of training materials both internal and
external clients, across multiple product lines

·         Maintain and improve training material, provide updates and
different editions as necessary

·         Work with Client Delivery Account Managers and training
specialists to coordinate scheduled training and deliverables required, for
both internal and external clients

·         Assist with testing of new product offerings

·         Work directly with Subject Matter Experts(SME) to define
documentation requirements

·         Ensure verbiage is easy to understand by the layperson

·         Ensure content flows in the correct sequence

·         Submit drafts to product owners/SME for feedback and approval



*This is a contract to hire with a salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 plus
10% bonus potential *

*This position is based in Greensboro NC corporate office*







*Required Skills:*



·         Proficient in the use of software packages, including Adobe
products, and Microsoft Office Suite, and web based training applications.

·         Knowledge of the principles for developing and improving
technical documents to be disseminated to and understood by a diverse
audience

·         Ability to recognize grammatical and formatting errors in client
document deliverables

·         Proven ability to manage documents from concept through final
production under tight deadlines.

·         Proven ability to manage concurrent projects with quick
turnaround times.

·         Proven ability to understand, use, and explain complex software



·         Highly motivated with demonstrated ability to take ownership and
define work with little direction

·         Strong communication and time management skills—the ability to
balance high quality work standards against time constraints

·         Coordinate, prioritize a manage documentation across multiple
business areas

·         Excellent organization skills, attention to detail

·         Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

·         Ability to multitask
