Here is the job description: Title: SAP Basis Support Specialist with strong exposure in APO and BW Location- Atlanta, GA Duration- 1 Year + Start Date- 08.25.08 Experienced in supporting SAP environment for the following modules; SAP Basis, SAP Netweaver, SAP APO/SCM and SAP BW/BI Responsibilities: * Maintain and support the mySAP Productive Landscape Environments according to company strategies and standards. * Providing proactive support, through effective capacity planning and change management. * Providing reactive support for customers of the service, and to introduce measures to reduce reactive work. * Handling escalations from customers/other teams about technical issues. * Overall responsibility for solutions, managing the various assigned customer's SAP systems. * Providing service delivery to the required service levels. * Plan, execute and follow up SAP projects under your responsibility. * Provide problem determination and resolution services Pro-actively monitor and support the mySAP Environments, including: * Daily/weekly/monthly checks * Database * Performance * Tuning * Sizing * Transport * Connectivity, i.e: ALE; RFC Applying and managing changes consistently across the mySAP Environments, including: * Support Packages, * SDP's and CRT's. * Kernel Patches, * mySAP middleware, * Database patches/upgrades Ensure all global standards are adhered to Review, maintain, and improve procedures for the installation, operations and support of the mySAP Environments Work in a diverse Global atmosphere and collaborate with remote teams Operate with IT outsourcing partners Qualifications: * Atleast 7 years of SAP BASIS experience * Atleast 4 years of SAP BW and APO experience Required Skills * Analysis skills to quickly identify and resolve problems * Strong exposure and deep technical knowledge of BW and APO is mandatory * ABAP Workbench a plus (not mandatory) * A team player who can perform with consistent attention to detail * Working independently to identify and resolve customer issues on a timely basis * Ability to quickly understand and learn new areas, while working in a complex environment * Fluency in English, both written and verbal Candidates with the following skills will be at an added advantage: * SAP Basis certified * SAP Basis experience on release 6.20 and above * SAP experience on any of the following NetWeaver technologies: * ERP Core Components (ECC) * Enterprise Portal / SAP Workplace * SAP Exchange Infrastructure / SAP Business Connector * SolMan * SAP J2EE * Supplier Relationship Management / Business-to-Business Procurement * SAP Basis experience using Oracle, Informix/DB2, MS SQL databases * SAP Basis experience using HPUX, Windows operating systems * SAP Installation and Upgrade experience -- Regards, Gabriel Agile Enterprise Solutions, Inc || "Ensuring Client's Success"|| Ph: (630)-242-8896 x 302 Fax: (847)-890-6357 www.agilees.com|| Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "USITSOFT" group.
