Person selected will be:
· Responsible for all application architecture aspects of AABS/TAS
information systems for determining appropriate application software and
preferred software solutions.
· As a Solutions Architect he/she will act as the delegate
responsible for the architectural design artifacts associated with a
project/program.
· He/she should leverage the IT Strategy and Architecture teams
architectural expertise in a matrix fashion to ensure proper governance,
completeness in design, inclusiveness in enterprise relevance/association
and proper artifact completeness.
· Will create / maintain the existing application architecture
framework and assists different teams in the application development
methodologies & practices across group.
· Will also review software development to verify compliance with
standards and review software designs for compliance with delineated
architecture recommendations.
Ø Collaborating with technical teams in the exchange and transfer of
technical knowledge and in the development and evolution of application
architecture, IT Technology Roadmap, technology stack and best practices
Ø Developing/nurturing consensus and working relationships with technical
teams from global IT teams to ensure coordination and integration in
projects and programs
Ø Supporting business process design workshops related to relevant
applications
Ø Performing impact and system analysis based on business requirements, load
testing and quality achievement metrics
Ø Facilitate transition of integration technology into successful
right-sized sustainable enterprise class global solutions
Expperience: 8+ years ; with strong experience in Application
Architecting (independent of technology)
Technology & Skill:
Application architecture, integration, design, or systems engineering in the
last 4 years around .NET and other Microsoft Technologies like SQL Sever
etc.
Strong in OOAD
Strong in UML
Qualification:
· Possess a Bachelors Degree in computer science, engineering,
business or a related field or an equivalent combination of education,
training, and work experience.
· Must possess 8 or more years of experience in Information
Technology with a heavy concentration in application architecture,
integration, design, or systems engineering in the last 4 years around .NET
and other Microsoft Technologies like SQL Sever, etc.
· Must have previous professional programming experience minimum to
5+ years.
· Nice to have exposure to Lotus Notes applications.
General Skills Required:
· Demonstrated knowledge of object oriented analysis and design,
systems integration methods and technologies (e.g. SOA, XML, MQ, ETL, etc.)
· Demonstrated experience in performing complex analysis, consulting
and providing recommendations to internal clients
· Demonstrated experience with all layers of the Systems Development
Life Cycle methodologies and quality management
· Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
· Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver formal presentations
on technical issues to a non-technical audience
· Strong knowledge/use of MS/Office, Visio, System Architecture and
Rational Suite of products
