I need a SQL DBA / Report Writer for a 3 – 6 months contract in Miami, Florida. My client has applications which are web-applications written in VB.NET, ASP.NET with a back-end database of either Microsoft Dynamics or SQL 2005 database, and they need someone to create a basic data-warehouse platform and then generate reports for them. Primary responsibilities: 1. Create and customize revenue reports and analysis using either 1) SQL Analysis services (strongly preferred) OR 2) Can suggest and implement a 3 rd party reporting and analysis software solution. 2. Develop a basic data-warehousing platform that provides the reports needed. 3. Use 3rd party software or develop a front-end solution for end-users to create and customize own reports and analysis. Key Competencies: 1. Strong analytical skills to understand the scope of the information required and extract/manipulate the data to create the reports. 2.
