*Responsibilities:-*
- The selected resource will be required to review existing environments,
storage allocations and SAN configurations; suggest and recommend process
improvements; and apply consistency in operations between the Windows and
UNIX platforms.
- The selected resource will provide daily and weekly status information
of the environments and will assist in creating incident and problem reports
as required.
- The selected resource will be on-call 24/7 to assist with any issue
that arises.
*Requirement:-*
Must be a seasoned UNIX professional and must have experience and expertise
in *UNIX system administration *and operations of a large/complex UNIX
environment serving multiple customers.
The proposed candidate must also have the following experience:-
- HP-UX (OS and HP server hardware)
- *O/S Security *
- *Veritas Volume Manager *
- Technical Writing
- Scripting
- Sun Cluster and/or Service Guard
- *Storage Area Network (SAN)* – HP EVA and HP Datagard
- *IBM's Tivoli Storage Manager *
