This is my direct client opening for *Project Manager - New York, NY*. This
is a *6 month's contract* position. The Hourly rate is DOE. *Candidates need
to interview in person and should be in the NY area*

*Scope of Service:*
Project Manager
- Responsible for the project management including assurance that project
is in scope and on schedule.
- Responsible for working closely with the stakeholders to analyze
business processes, identify application requirements, assess gaps, roles
and data.
- Act as technical lead for the project. This includes
- Working with the vendor and the Client information utility team to
successfully implement and deploy the solution in a Client hosted
environment.
- Working with the stakeholder agencies to ensure successful
installation of bar code workstations and successful migration
of existing
data into the new system.
- Co-ordinate training sessions for stakeholder agency personnel to
ensure successful launch of the inventory management process.

*Requirements:*
-BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
-Minimum 8 years of skill and experience in Technology Project Management
and Business Analysis.
-Proficiency with systems and variety of software
applications
-Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
-Must be detail-oriented.
-Ability to work in a team environment.
The following experience is *desirable* but *not required*:
-Experience with inventory management processes and applications is highly
desirable but not required
-Project Management (PMP) certification helpful but not
required
-Software programming experience helpful but not required
