Required* o Deep knowledge of target tools *(QC Test Management, QC Test Automation, Quick Test Pro) - understanding of their usage, strengths and weaknesses** * o Experience using these products to produce automated tests integrated with the *QC Test Management tools to test Win32 applications (as opposed to firmware)* o Understanding of how these tools can be used to test applications running on other platforms* (Linux, AIX, HP-UX, Solaris, zOS)* o Knowledge of *Java (the current tools are Java-based)* . Desirable o Experience *using the target tools in a production environment* o Experience using the target tools to product platform-independent automated tests that run on multiple platforms *(Win32, Linux, AIX, HP-UX, Solaris, zOS) * o Experience *migrating between various test management tool platforms* To summarize, the skill set is one of deep knowledge of the 3 Mercury Quality Center test-related tools mentioned above (i.e., (*QC Test Management, QC Test Automation, Quick Test Pro)* along with familiarity (NOT necessarily deep expertise) with Java.
