Job Title: Teradata Developer
Duration: 5 months
Description/Required Skills:
- Seeking consultant/contractor services to meet Enterprise Actuarial IBNR needs.
This includes technical design and development services for full development project lifecycle responsibilities for design, technical requirements/specifications, development, unit testing, system/feature/user acceptance testing support and implementation of the following:
- Teradata stored procedures, standard tables and ETL processes.
- Reviews, evaluate, designs, implements and maintains company databases.
- Identifies data sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams, provides data flow diagrams and documents the process.
- Writes codes for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures.
- May require a bachelor's degree in a related area.
- 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
- May lead and direct the work of others.
- Typically reports to a project leader or manager.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
