*Title: Sr Data Modeler w/ ER Studio* *Location: Herndon, VA* *Length: 6+ Months* *Industry: Financial / Mortgage* ** *KEY EXPERIENCE:* Searcing for a Sr Data Modeler (Not a DBA with Data Modeling exp)with 5-8 yrs exp with large development projects using ER Studio About the Position: • Develop and maintain platform data models, data dictionaries, data maps and other artifacts across the organization. • Leverage expertise in data modeling to provide innovative solutions to challenging business problems. • Lead high-level database design for major new applications and application releases. Ensure that the needs of key stakeholders (development, operations, business, etc) are met and balanced. • Clearly understand and communicate the technology aspects of application and system operational domains as well as where project assignments fit within technology and business strategy. • Participate in the project lifecycle, providing data architectural guidance Qualifications: Must-Have Skills: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. • Minimum of 6 years combined experience in data modeling, database and data architecture. • Experience in using data modeling tools such as ERWin, ER Studio, etc. • Extensive knowledge of and direct experience across the full development lifecycle experience including requirements analysis, design, development implementation, operations, and maintenance. • Demonstrated skill in developing complex, scalable large business applications using Oracle technologies. • Experience in Oracle database development, design, and best practices are highly desired. • Experience with relational and dimensional modeling techniques. • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in root cause analyses and ability to resolve problems • Excellent documentation, presentation, oral and written communication skills along with the ability to work independently and handle ambiguity effectively required • Strong understanding of mortgage business concepts with experience in financial or mortgage technology is desired -- Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
