Position:*Software QA Tester*
Location:San Francisco,CA
Duration:6 Month
Position summary :
* MUST BE PASSIONATE TO WORK ON CONSUMER PRODUCTS
* Minimum 5 years work experience with SQA, including significant experience
testing multi-tier, web-based applications. Including writing test plans,
documenting test procedures, and executing tests.
* Experience with designing and executing tests. Including white-box,
black-box, stress, load, performance, web, database, and windows client
applications.
* Experience reviewing requirements for testability, to develop acceptance
plan, and to ensure they are unambiguous.
* Perform data testing by programming and executing C and C++ code.
Scripting alone wont cut it.
* Test Automation
* Experience doing validation of data that is critical to the enterprise.
Including testing accuracy process, algorithms, or formulas used in data
transformation.
* Ability to take ownership of various QA tasks, work with stakeholders to
prioritizing requirements, as well as ability to manage multiple
requirements.
* Ability to ensure processes are implemented and followed to meet required
quality levels and SLAs.
* Audit quality programs and control procedures for adherence to standards
and procedures
* Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation), and
experience with communicating plans, status, and issues to management and
stakeholders
* Hands-on technical knowledge with Windows platforms/tools, Open Source,
setting up and troubleshooting test environments is a strong plus.
* BS degree in CS, EE, or a related field is a strong plus.
Set up, programming, and use of load testing and automated testing tools is
required.
Qualifications
4+ years experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of
experience and/or education.
