Location: El Segundo, CA Pay Rate: $50- $55/hr Length: Long term, on going project Title: Sr. Java Engineer (local Only) Skills: Java, Swing, C++JSP, Struts, DHTML, Hibernate, SQL, EJB3, JBOSS Messaging, Apache Description: The person hired will be responsible for the systems analysis, design, development, testing, and documentation of software utilized in broadcast systems. Meet, coordinate, and work with other team members and users throughout the entire project lifecycle. Initial responsibilities will include testing, troubleshooting and fixing an application near then end of its initial development cycle. Qualifications: Requires 5 to 10 years experience developing large-scale software applications using Java, JSP, Struts, DHTML, Hibernate and SQL. Also requires working experience with JBoss 4.2 Application Server, EJB3, JBoss Messaging and Apache Tomcat 5.5. Must possess a strong working knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design methodologies, as well as experience in developing multi-threaded software applications. Experience using and Eclipse 3.2 IDE and MyEclipse a plus. Configuration management and revision control using CVS a plus. A BS degree in computer science/engineering is required. Must be able work successfully in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment, and effectively multi-task multiple priorities in a team-oriented environment.
