Location: Raleigh, NC Duration: 6 months Rate: $ Open but please send low best possible *REQUIRED:* • Minimum of 10 years experience as a DBA in managing database services – *THIS IS A MUST *– Do Not send someone with less than 10 years DBA experience • Experience with and excellent knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005 & 2008. • Experience maintaining very large databases, including backups and restores. • Minimum of 5 solid years of database modeling and design experience. • Experience with managing priorities for multiple activities. • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) • Excellent command of the English language. • Experience in designing, developing and implementing data warehouses. *DESCRIPTION:* Our client is in the process of upgrading the technology infrastructure of a new system (multi-tiered .NET intranet/internet application using SQL Server as the database source), which was frozen during development, and testing, resolving ongoing helpdesk request for changes and adding other enhancements to the original system. One of those new enhancements will be a Data Warehouse.
