Description *SAS DEVELOPER * *1 YEAR CONTRACT * *RICHMOND, VA * ** SAS programming with emphasis on AF/SCL (may substitute extensive SAS Base/ Macro programming). UNIX environment with ability to maintain existing shell script programs and develop new utilities. Increase factory productivity by enhancing performance & functionality of SAS application programs. 1. Maintain and enhance SAS reports which provide statistical representation of factory process quality (drift in process control). 2. Extend functionality of existing SAS/AF programs and develop new SAS and UNIX shell routines to achieve data presentation & analysis objectives of Product Engineers. 3. Troubleshoot batch reports and on-line system data collection problems. ** Note: The client is not a software development shop. But the in-line quality system was constructed with an inherent, daily need for SAS and UNIX developer skills. ** Office desktop environment: Windows 2000, MS Office, Outlook, IE6.0, etc. Exceed X Window Server SAS/JMP ** Additional Job Responsibilities: Operational Support : To provide limited 24x7 operational support (on-call) for the developed system after it is turned from test to operational mode.
