. This is a technical production support role that requires
skills in problem analysis and resolution as well as skills in customer
relations
. Proficient in UNIX shell scripting. Oracle SQL, cron
. Ability to read Java a plus
. 24x7 on call responsibility for one week per month
. Assist senior team members to support processes and
procedures, work independently or with senior team members to provide
ongoing support to manage application SLA's, resolve a majority of the
problems and fulfill service requests that do not require application
development
. Works on special projects as assigned
. Communicates project status and escalates issues as needed.
. Perform analysis of business issues, provide recommendations
for possible solutions, work with Business users and IT project teams to
drive decision making and define requirements for application development,
ensuring that business needs are being met.
. Work with senior team members to perform analysis of
compliance vulnerabilities, work with Business and IT teams to eliminate
vulnerabilities, work independently or with senior team members to support
internal and external audit related activities.
. Assist senior team members with the analysis and
recommendations of opportunities to improve application reliability, work
independently or with senior team members to implement solutions that
enhance application and infrastructure reliability.
. Candidate Specifications (list education, travel, language
requirements, budget/supervisory responsibility
. 3-5 years of experience in business analysis of
product/software development
. Proven organizational skills with the ability to develop a
detailed work plan to ensure project success
. Demonstrated ability to organize and facilitate cross
functional meetings
. Promote consensus on a high level view of the project and
drill down into the details to obtain the requirements
. Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to work
collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues
. Experience with system development methodologies
. Follow policies and procedures to ensure audit and corporate
compliance
. Consistently deliver project status and time tracking
regularly to management
. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
. Ability to work in fast-paced environment, handling multiple
priorities, meet deadlines, work independently
. Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, work independently
. Ability to work in a team environment and be open to change
. Strong work ethic with ability to work a flexible schedule to
accommodate project deadlines.
