The Project Coordinator will report to a Project Manager and support the day-to-day execution of the Project Planning Phase of this project. The Project Coordinator may also serve in a compliance capacity ensuring that project management processes and guidelines are followed during the project lifecycle, as directed by the Project Manager, while supporting the project and Project Sponsors. Key responsibilities of the Project Coordinator may include: Coordinating various project meetings including scheduling global project team members, stakeholders, and venues Creating communications and presentations to support the project Developing and updating key project management enablers (e.g., Project Plan, Project Portfolio, Communication Plan, Organization Charts, Issues Log, Change Request Log, Risk Log, etc.) Managing the Project Library Ensuring Program Management Office process, guideline, reporting and deliverable compliance for the project Gathering required project metrics to support Project and Program risk identification and reporting* * To qualify for this position, which offers excellent career advancement opportunities for the right professional, candidates must have: Bachelors Degree Assertiveness, confidence, good written and verbal communication skills Effective presentation skills Demonstrated leadership skills, teaming skills and listening skills Organized and disciplined mindset Integrity, maturity, dependability, and a positive professional attitude Experience participating in complex projects Understanding of program and project management tools and processes 2 years of project management experience or equivalent Desired: Some experience with one of the following corporate functions: Insurance/Reinsurance, Finance or Accounting Desired: Master Degree in Business Administration, Project Management or equivalent degrees.
