reports in full client, WebIntelligence
and Zabo. Report creation must
include strong and verifiable experience in template
design, breaks, filters,
sections, folds, linking multiple data providers, variable creation,
charts,

• Four or more years experience in writing freehand SQL on
either a SQL Server or Oracle
environment. Should be able to write simple to
complex SQL including UNION, MINUS,
CAST and other SQL
functions.

Business Objects System
Administrator (1 opening)
Position
Summary
The Business Objects System
Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operation and
health of the
Business Objects system infrastructure. The Administrator is responsible
for
providing tier-three support regarding the health of the Business Objects
environment, as well as
planning for the future state of the infrastructure
as it relates to software and hardware. The
Administrator will also be
responsible for participating in an after-hours, on-call rotation
schedule.
The Business Objects Administrator will also be involved in helping
define business requirements,
working with the database developers and the
Business Objects developers to architect a
solution that meets the needs of
the business user as well as ensuring that the Business Objects
application
will perform at optimal levels to support the solution.
In general, this
position will:
• Be involved in general production support functions
• Be
on-call to support the server environment
• May be required to perform
general development functions
• Report to the Manager of Data Warehouse

Minimum
Requirements
All applicants must
meet the following requirements in order to be considered.
• Three or more
years of practical experience in the architecture of small to medium
Business
Objects environments (up to 1,000 users). This
includes:
o Environment sizing, server specifications, user growth
analysis, etc that supports
the advanced use of Business Objects and its
premium functions (Crystal
Reports, Xcelsius, Designer, etc ) as well as its
standard functions.
o This experience should be in Windows-based environments
using IIS (preferred)
and/or WebLogic. Experience with VMWare is a
plus.
o Experience must be with version XI or beyond (experience
with version XIr3 will
receive additional consideration).
• Three or more
years of practical experience in a Business Objects production
support
environment. This must include experience in server support of
Business Objects,
deciphering and offering solutions for Business Objects
error codes, etc. The ability to
work with production support analysts that
are remotely located (other MetroPCS
