As a follow-up to the earlier discussion: I was walking through a local store today with my partner. She (as is usual) stopped to help herself from one of the perfume sampler bottles. I took a look at the packaging: these Lancome products had nothing but metric on the bottles, and 'Made in France'. I also saw (somewhat ironically) Vanderbilt, 'Made in France' and metric-only labelling. How come these companies can do it, but not Estee Lauder?
