That's the whole idea.  We had km as well as miles in the timetable from 
about 1977 until 1986, when they changed the format and "needed the room".   
What I've been able to do is accepted somewhat but there is still lots of 
resistance, and it all is based on "this is America and we don't do it that 
way ..." .  All the governmental dithering on the subject hasn't helped, but 
at least I'm trying to keep it on the radar screen.
