Funny items regardless of precise accuracy, but John ASKED us to look for
errors, so here goes:

> Time between slipping on a peel and smacking the pavement: 1bananosecond
It takes more than a nanosecond (or even a bananosecond) to fall down.
> Weight an evangelist carries with God: 1 billigram
Grams is mass not weight. God knows the difference even if we Earthbound
mortals do not.
> Time it takes to sail 220 yards at 1 nautical mile per hour: Knot-furlong
Units should be furlongs per knot (furlongs DIVIDED by knots) not
knot-furlongs (which would be knots MULTIPLIED by furlongs).
> 365.25 days of drinking low-calorie beer because it's less filling: 1lite
> year
A light year is a unit of distance, not time.
> 1 million microphones: 1 megaphone
1 million PHONES equals 1 megaphone. It takes 10 to the 12th or
1 TRILLION micro(anythings) to make 1 mega(anything).
> 1 kilogram of falling figs: 1 Fig Newton
Kilograms measure mass while newtons measure forces (including weight).
> 1000 cubic centimeters of wet socks: 1 literhosen
Should be pants, not socks. "Hosen" in German is pants. "Strumpfe" is socks.
