I sent the following to State Farm Insurance. I would appreciate feedback
on how this looks.

Dear Sir or Madam:

I would like you to update the way State Farm states coverage for covered
vehicles. Your Auto Renewal policy states: to work or school not more
than 100 miles weekly. Driven 7500 miles or less annually, Etc.

I wish to inform you that 3 of my vehicles have odometers that display
distance in km and speedometers that have the primary display in km/h.
Any future vehicle I purchase will have similar displays.

In 1975 Congress passed the metric conversion act, promoting voluntary
conversion to the metric system. In accordance with Section 3 of the
Metric Conversion Act of 1975, and US Code: Title 15, Section 204, I
shall be using only km on my present and all future vehicles. I would
therefore like State Farm to include kilometer information on the
distances stated in my polity. There are 3 legally defined miles (source
NIST Special Publication 811) in use in the United States, your policy
does not stipulate which applies. There is only one legal definition of
the kilometer, also stated in the above document.

Sincerely,

Michael D. Payne
