FIY: I do not know in in other places is thge same, baut in Italy 
firewood is sold by volume wholesale , and by mass retali.
The reason is that wholesale is done in the woods, where firewoot 
is piled so a size measurement is easir, while retalis is usually by 
carloads, where is easier to weight it.
