2000-11-20 If you go to this site and enter the name of a food in the search block, you can get recipes in metric or FFU. I entered "soup" and when the list appeared, selected "onion soup". I copied both the SI and FFU versions. It appears that they use a 500 g pound, a 250 mL cup and a 25 g ounce. I haven't checked other recipes, but others can and report back here to see if their conversions are consistent. http://www.astro.cf.ac.uk/misc/recipe/ John USENET Cookbook Recipe - onion-soup-1 (Metric) ONION SOUP ONION-SOUP-1 - Easy onion soup This recipe came from some ancient recipe cards we have.
