The UK version has always (the last 30 years, to my knowledge) used
SI. When I checked a few months ago, it included fps (I think it was
secondary), but I'm not sure if it was previously SI-only. I've little
time for it now, since discovering that the main compiler holds
far-right views, and is one of the BWMA members. There used to be a TV
programme based on the book; it must have been galling for him to hear
all that SI used!
