because FFU is part of America's culture. Culture is the politically
correct term to describe the reason for not adopting a foreign idea. That
is why the masses don't rally behind metric, and most likely never will.>
Being a part of this movement has taught me a lot (sadly) about my fellow
citizens. The fact that units of measurement are apparently such a large
part of our culture tells me that deep down, American culture is really
pretty shallow.
