House in 1978--1982, I sponsored and passed a bill into law (which, amazingly, had no companion bill down the hall, but somehow we got it all the way with no Senate sponsor) which required dual speed limit signs in Florida. For a few years we had more and more dual speed limit signs, but they are by now all gone. I also managed to create and fund a Florida Metric Council...for a while.
