        21 shillings = 1 guinea
        2 shillings and and 6 pence = half crown
     5 shillings = crown
        1 penny = 2 half pennies
        4 farthings = 1 penny

In my memory Britain had
                12 pence = 1 shilling
                12 inches = 1 foot.
The penny and the shilling have now gone.  I don't think that 12 inches = 1
foot qualifies the mess of imperial units to be called duodecimal.
