Saskatchewan wants to teach acres in the schools? Tell them that acres are
NEVER taught in US schools, because they are way too complicated! Do they
really want kids to spend time memorizing that an acre is 43560 ft3, 160
rd2, 10 ch2, 1/10 fur2, 100 000 li2, 4840 yd2, or 1/640 mi2? Sheesh!

According to the reporter some teachers say Imperial is still used, such as
acres, miles, and inches for building homes, though the reported mentioned
that he had the understanding that homes were built using millimetres.
