I wonder what would have happened if you had said "I don't know what that is
in feet (or pounds)". I do that.
I supose Jim's clerk could have answered "If you can't give me the
information the way I want it, I won't give you a driver's license". I guess
I would have caved in at that point, too. But even then, the only thing I
would be able to give is an approximation because I really don't know my
exact height and mass in Olde English.
