Did you come across anybody who makes the short (1 to 1.5 m) fibreglass ones used in
sewing and textiles? I found one with the "Metric Commission of Canada" and "Made in
England" stamped on it at the bottom of my toolbox. I think my father threw it into a
kit he sent me off to university with. I thought that might make an excellent stocking
stuffer as well if I could find a manufacturer.

I've found a distributor for a 1 metre steel tape measure key chain,
metric only, marked in cm. They run a couple bucks each, plus shipping.
My minimum order must be 250. Anyone interested in these as stocking
stuffers, giveaways etc.? I'd have to do this real quick to get it done
by Christmas. Even if I can't get them by Christmas I'll probably go
ahead with an order anyway. Let me know if anybody's interested.
