This is another example of how fps insinuates itself into countries
that otherwise would not use it. I don't have satellite or cable, but
in the UK they are dominated by Murdoch's Sky channels, and Discovery
is one that is usually part of the package, along with National
Geographic, etc. So even though science and natural history programmes
went metric in the UK many many years ago, we're having this trash
beamed into homes where children watch this stuff from dawn to dusk.
