Is your program syndicated in any way that it can be heard on the radio in
other cities? If so, what station would carry it in Cleveland, Ohio? I'll
be home during those hours, so I'll tune in via the internet if I have to,
but I'd rather hear it live or taped over the internet?

Is it possible for you to tape it on audio cassettes (3-1 h cassettes) that
can be sold and people like us can play them in our cars?

And please, make an effort to expose as fools anyone who calls in and spouts
those tired old anti-metric clichs. Maybe you can arrange with Jim
Frysinger, if he wants to do it, to have him on as a "guest speaker". He
can give sound advice to counter some of the anti-metric garble. And maybe
even Chris can give a British point of view.

I hope you mention that the costs of conversion is minimal because modern
technology makes conversions easy. Like gas pumps and shop scales that are
digital and already metric friendly and can be converted with only the flip
of a switch or a change in program code. No need to replace parts as would
have been a requirement with older mechanical equipment.

I hope you show is a success.

John

Keiner ist hoffnungsloser versklavt als derjenige, der irrtmlich glaubt
frei zu sein.

There are none more hopelessly enslaved then those who falsely believe they
are free!

 To my pro-metric friends:

*Please do not let our cause get cold or old or musty in your
mind. We are on the verge of being able to nail this thing down. I
don't think it would take very much to get a real national
consensus that we are going to go metric. We are almost there.

*Keep in mind that virtually everyone in the U.S. now has been
exposed to metrics, that the vast majority of Americans have had
it taught to them even as far back as junior high school.

*Please continue to post and share and plot and conspire to bring
about full metrication. Please come visit with us at
 http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/metricAmerica when you can.

*And please make a note to join me as I devote my entire radio
program to metrication, 9--noon, east coast time, on Thursday,
Dec. 28, on AM1320 WJGR in Jacksonville. You can tune in over the
net at http://www.wjgr.com if you just follow the directions. My
show is a political talk show 5 days weekly, 9--noon. For this one
day the one subject for the entire three hours will be metrication.

*Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! Season's Greetings! And keep in
mind my hunch that we can tie metrication to the turn of the
millennium, as the logical way to do something important for the
bringing together of mankind in 2001.

 Sincerely,
 Andy Johnson
